As new parents, there were certain shows that we always said we hoped our kids would never watch. Teletubbies and Barney are a couple of examples! Now that Dean is two and loves to watch TV, we are both relieved and grateful that his two favorite shows are Sesame Street and Sid the Science Kid. Above all, Elmo is his all time favorite. As soon as he hears that high squeeky voice, he drops everything and runs to the TV. So this post is in honor of Dean's love for the cute red fur ball, Elmo.

Alex loves Elmo too! I don't know what it is about that high squeaky voice :) but I'm grateful its entertaining for kids. Dean is still so adorable!

I'm not sure what the thing is with Elmo, but he has a spell on so many children! My baby McKelle is already in love with him. Whenever we start singing the 'Elmo's World' song, she instantly turns happy and coo's. I swear when we were kids Big Bird and Snuffy were the stuff. Elmo is now king! Sesame Street is always a good bet!
Elmo is great! So so so much better than Barney! My kids like Handy Manny and Super Why. Colby plays with his toy tools and calls himself Manny. And...Carter loves the having the "power to read!" My favorite picture is Dean with his toothbrush. Jon, you must be so proud!
