So, my mom says that the term "fun run" is an oxymoron, but I really did have a good time! I even got a free t-shirt out of it, what more could you want? My friends Amy and Brooke, who are hard-core runners, told me about the Earth Day 5K at Forest Hills Park, and since I am training with my sister Shelby to run a 12K in June, I thought this would be very appropriate. Even though it was pretty cold outside, it didn't rain, so that was a plus.
Here are Jeanie, me, Brooke, Fiona, and Amy before the race started. Amy and Brooke totally kicked our little patooties, but I was so proud of my time of 29.40! That's the fastest 5K I have ever ran. I must say, I have to thank Tony Horton and P90X (or rather P60X), for getting my legs into great shape!
My wonderful hubby and kiddies came to watch me and cheer me on. Dean picked flowers the whole time and had fun running through the flags that were at the end of the race while they waited for me.

And here is a very unflattering picture of me approaching the finish line! It was so fun to see my family at the end cheering me on, and Dean running up to me yelling my name. Thanks for the support Jonny, I love you!

I had to get a picture of all my favorite girls (and Dave) from Jonathan's class: Fiona, Jeanie, Margaret, and Katya.

Our real motivation for going was to meet David Archuleta who was there signing autographs, but we ended up getting out of line because it was taking too long, so we just got some shots of him.

And this is Dawson after his nap! I love my boys.

Dawson loved his Uncle Dan
I had so much fun playing the drums on their Guitar Hero World Tour, and so did Dean! He also liked to play the guitar, with Daddy's help. I love that he loves music so much, I wonder what he'll end up playing!
Dan and Jolyn took us to a little park by their house and Dan spent the whole time pushing the kiddies in the swings.
Man, who are those hot chicks?
This was so cool! It's a swing for those wheelchair-bound folks (is that politically correct?)
We had to use a burp cloth to keep the sun out of Dawson's eyes, and look, still smiling!
Well, I know it's been forever since I've blogged. A couple reasons: we're pretty busy these days as any 4th year dental student can tell you, and due to the busyness, we haven't taken many pictures. But last Saturday we went to the dental formal that the school has every year. It was awesome! We had a great time and we're glad that so many of our friends came!
For dinner I ordered the Spinach stuffed Chicken and Jonathan had the sirloin. Then we had an awesome Vanilla Bean Cheesecake. Thank you to the Chaffees for sitting with us at dinner, we had a great time with you guys!

And of course, here are my girls! Tia, Brittani, Anna, Rochelle, Kendra, Krystal, Carissa, and Melanie
Well, we danced the night away, well until about 11:30 until my feet about fell off. We all got pretty crazy, and our friends probably didn't think we'd post pictures of them, but here they are in all their glory!
